A school can reply to parents’ reviews and questions and keep its own information right. It is free.

Find your school

How a school gets access

  • Open the school’s page and choose “School account”.
  • Log in with Rafræn skilríki.
  • We send a confirmation code to the school’s official email address. Enter it and the account is verified.

Account holders

The first person to verify is the head and can invite up to two colleagues. The account belongs to the school, not to a person.

Every August, account holders re-confirm through the school’s official email address. Anyone who doesn’t is removed on 1 September.

What a school can do

  • Reply once to each review.
  • Answer each question once.
  • Update the school’s address, opening hours and website.

Rules for the school’s posts

The school’s replies and answers are checked before they go live, under the same rules as reviews. A reply that confirms anything about a pupil is rejected.

Who wrote the review?

We do not tell anyone who wrote a review, the school included. If a review breaks the rules, anyone can report it and a moderator will check it.
